CALENDAR 2012
 
The year is 1940 and World War II is reaping victims in Europe. Iron ore is being shipped from Narvik: a hardware the Germans need for the war industry. Their attack plan against Norway includes taking over Narvik, but in a battle against Norwegian and allied troops, the whole convoy of ten German destroyers where sunk, a fate that 36 other destroyer met. Today Narvik is a diving paradise for wreck divers; an untouched war cemetery with three German destroyers opened for diving at the turn of the year 1997/98. Here lies memories from a horrible war: boots, uniforms, magazines and much more.
